1. Numbers
Alternative music haven, Numbers Nightclub, has been an underground Houston fixture since 1978. Having staged the likes of legends – Siouxsie & The Banshees, Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, and more – the nightclub continues to deliver new wave music to the masses.
On top of the music, Numbers Nightclub also hosts markets, alternative performances, and themed parties. Numbers is open from 9 pm to 2 am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from 9 pm to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays.

2. Barbarella
With the tagline “nothing fancy just dancy” Barbarella is the dive bars of dance clubs. Located at 2404 San Jacinto St., the alternative Houston nightclub regularly attracts indie lovers for its dancy soundtrack of Daft Punk, Grimes, Lana Del Ray, and more. Barbarella features weekly themed nights such as Pop Off Thursdays, New Noise Fridays, and Footloose Saturdays.

After four years and multi-million-dollar renovations, iconic LGBTQ+ club, South Beach, has brought the party back to Montrose.
Party goers will also notice one striking design change: the club has switched out its planet-sized disco ball centerpiece for an 8-foot, 450-pound, rotating crystal chandelier – what Armstrong calls “the mother of all chandeliers”.

Behind Closed Doors is an elevated new cocktail concept that comprises of multiple bars, including secret rooms, DJs, and all the vibes.
Inside this groovy den amid the far out light installations are three separate bars, each of which with its own designated design. Among these rooms visitors will find two DJs, one up front, and the other in the Red Room upstairs.

Mala Vida Paradise is a neon-saturated Latin oasis in Downtown, Houston. In addition to hosting a revolving line-up of perreo, cumbia, and perreo DJs, the two-story nightclub regularly hosts after parties for club goers.
